Taryn Chong is a passionate artist and storyteller studying at LCAD and under Nadia Vurbenova. Their experience includes working and interning in indie animation as a Visual Development and Background artist. Additionally, Taryn is a California Art Scholar, CSSSA Animation Alumnus, and a 2x LPAPA (Laguna Plein Air Painters Association) Next Generation 1st place winner. They also have a background in art education.

Unpretentious art is always my goal. I like to experiment with mixed media and different storytelling mediums while creating. You can often find me searching for picture books, blasting loud pop-punk music, and trying to keep up my Japanese.
